Course Overview

The Beginner Module is a comprehensive course designed to introduce individuals to the world of computers and their essential applications. The course is divided into three parts: Fundamentals, Windows, and Microsoft Word. It aims to provide students with a solid foundation in computer knowledge and practical skills. The training duration is spread over two months, with 1.5 hour of daily classes. Additional hours are allocated for examinations and project work.

Fundamentals:

The Fundamentals section of the course covers the basics of computers and their components. Students learn about the utility of computers, comparing them to mobile devices and human capabilities. 

Windows:

In the Windows module, students delve into the Windows operating system, its graphical user interface (GUI), and command-line interface (CUI). Students gain insights into several windows operations, file searching techniques and the concept of file associations.

Microsoft Word:

The Microsoft Word section focuses on word processing and document creation. Students become proficient in basic text formatting, set background colors, add watermarks, and apply page borders. The module covers tab settings, paragraph formatting, bullets, numbering, and multilevel lists. Students also get hands-on experience with drawing objects, including shapes, WordArt, and pictures. The mail merge feature is introduced, enabling students to create personalized documents using a mailing list.

Throughout the course, both theoretical knowledge and practical application are emphasized. Students alternate between theory and practical classes, reinforcing their learning through hands-on exercises. They also work on a project that allows them to apply their skills in real-world scenarios.

The Beginner Module is designed for individuals with little to no prior computer experience. The pace of the course is adjusted based on the students' ability to grasp the concepts.
