Refund and Cancellation Policy

Ramakrishna Mission has established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy for payments made through the authorized bank payment gateway. Users are advised to read and understand the policy carefully before making any payment.

1. Admission Fee Refund

Refund of admission fees upon cancellation of admission shall be governed strictly by the rules and guidelines prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC), as applicable from time to time.

• Refund requests must be submitted within the time frame specified by the Institution and UGC.

• Deductions, if any, shall be made as per prevailing UGC norms.

• No refund shall be considered beyond the stipulated period.

2. Semester / Course Fees

Semester fees, course fees, and other academic fees are non-refundable once the semester has commenced or as notified by the Institution.

• No refund shall be entertained for withdrawal or discontinuation of course.

3. Wrong or Duplicate Transactions

In cases where a payment is made erroneously (wrong amount, duplicate transaction, or incorrect payment):

• The Institution will initiate a refund only after verification of the transaction with the concerned bank/payment gateway.

• Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment.

• The verification and refund process may take time depending on bank settlement procedures.

• The Institution shall not be responsible for delays caused by banking or technical processes.

4. Failed Transactions

If the amount is debited from the user's account but the transaction is marked as failed:

• Users are advised to first check with their bank.

• If the amount is received by the Institution, it will be refunded after due verification.

• If the amount is not received by the Institution, the refund will be handled by the bank as per its policies.

5. Processing Time

All approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable time frame. However, the actual credit to the user's account depends on the bank or payment gateway and may take additional time.

6. Mode of Refund

Refunds, wherever applicable, shall be made only through the original payment method used during the transaction. Cash or alternate-mode refunds shall not be permitted.

7. Right of the Institution

The Institution reserves the right to amend or modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time in accordance with regulatory requirements and institutional decisions.
